傳承七十多年的 MaruWen 丸文,以職人精神提供安全衛生的海鮮肉類加工品,更興建千坪現代自動化衛生廠房,提供讓人安心品質穩定的產品;品牌持續發展的過程,團隊也開始反思低碳環保議題,透過自身檢視與調整,在享用自然資源的同時也從企業做起與消費者一起邁向永續!
設計思考上,延續丸文帶有日式職人精神的品牌風格,整體視覺簡約、質樸,如同品牌初心,堅持最好原料、堅持傳統製程。
現有的品牌包裝形象一致,但包材大多不利回收,從低碳包材的選擇需同步考慮其保鮮性、氣密性和防潮,以及生產線與供應鏈的調整配合,逐步檢視後擬定低碳包材策略- 1. 選用可降解材料、再生材質 2. 減少包裝體積 3. 包裝模組化,增加包材共用機會,避免大量印刷囤貨 4. 結構上易於折疊或一體成型,減少紙張面積的浪費!
| 品牌禮盒與提袋|
禮盒簡化了原先大面積底色印刷,改以圓圈構成的簡約視覺,呼應丸文Maru(日語:まる圈或圓之意),運用品牌輔助圖形,靈活的留白,讓禮盒成為品牌通用,可組裝各式產品不被限制,整體油墨印刷面積減少 30%、包材體積減少 35%!
此次也設計一款品牌帆布袋,希望降低塑膠袋的使用,也能增加品牌的推廣與曝光,鼓勵消費者也一起參與環保行動!
|魚鬆魚酥立袋|
各式魚鬆、魚酥是丸文的經典產品,原先各口味為獨立印刷使用的塑膠鋁袋,調整升級為環保立袋,使用 100% 再生紙漿製成的再生紙,版面以 Fish/Floss/Fresh/Fried 英文詞圍繞著旗魚圖紋,象徵循環與再生,各口味間以小面積貼紙做區隔,同時也可以當作品牌共用袋,增加使用時機,產品資訊改以數位標籤,減量印刷油墨與版面資訊,整體油墨印刷減少 66%,減塑 13%。
丸文在承襲品牌傳統精神的同時,也與時俱進逐步調整與檢視,從品牌的參與和改變,讓環保低碳融入品牌精神,融入你我的生活!

In Taiwan, a land blessed with an abundance of fresh fruit, a rich culture of candied and preserved fruits has naturally flourished. Sweet, salty, tangy , every bite of these beloved treats carries the taste of childhood.
Lao Zhi Hao" and “Formosa Four Season Red" two beloved classics from Shun Tai Preserved Fruits, each with over seventeen years on top sale. In recent years, the growing awareness and reflection around sustainability has become a driving force behind this project. The goal: eliminate the unnecessary, while maintaining safe and sturdy packaging. We approached the redesign from multiple angles , structure, paper material, printing, and plastic reduction ,reviewing each element one by one. All packaging now uses FSC-certified paper and vegetable-based inks. The overall visual strategy carries forward the classic, nostalgic retro aesthetic of the original packaging, weaving in imagery rooted in the spirit of Taiwan.

The original hexagonal tube box presented significant challenges difficult to form, inefficient use of corner space, and increased logistics costs. By redesigning the structure into a rectangular box, paper waste is reduced by 80%, and the foldable handle allows for easy stacking and shipping. Print coverage is cut by half, substantially lowering ink consumption. The packaging color palette carries forward the original color scheme, celebrating the vibrant flavors of each fruit. The key visual adopts a woodblock intaglio print style to render the fruit illustrations, seamlessly integrating the Lao Zhi Hao logo and select elements from the original packaging creating a sustainably minded aesthetic that honors and reimagines a classic.

The original structure consisted of a lid-and-base box paired with a separate carry bag, with plastic trays and sealed inner bags for the contents resulting in excessive paper usage and a high volume of plastic. Through structural redesign, a cotton rope handle was introduced to upgrade the box into a self-contained carry box, eliminating the need for a separate bag. Inside, the plastic trays and inner lining were replaced with eco-friendly card and sealed inner pouches, allowing the product contents to speak for themselves. The result: a 30% reduction in both gift box paper usage and plastic consumption. All paper materials have been switched to 100% recycled paper, and the previous full-coverage printing has been scaled back to selective printing to minimize ink usage. The design color palette draws from the spirit of "red, water, black, and bold presence" echoing the Formosa Four Seasons Red theme. A free-flowing, expressive English typeface was chosen to capture the sensation of tasting preserved fruits that lively, leaping dance of salty, sour, sweet, and fragrant across the senses.
Sustainability is both a pressing issue and a moment of reflection in an age of convenience. Through thoughtful packaging and design, we take meaningful steps toward less plastic and lower carbon all while preserving the nostalgic warmth and retro character that defines these products. What we have never reduced, and never will, is the heartfelt intention behind every gift.
